Part-Time & Full-Time Mobile Groomers

Location:  Manatee & Sarasota Counties in Florida

Compensation:  Competitive Base Pay + Performance Bonus + Tips (W2)

Employment Type:  Full-Time & Part-Time

Howling Hounds is a premier mobile dog grooming service that provides stress-free, one-on-one grooming right at our clients' doorsteps. We’re looking for an experienced, passionate, and pet-loving groomer to join our growing team!

Position Overview

The Mobile Dog Groomer is responsible for providing professional grooming services inside a fully equipped mobile grooming unit. This role requires expertise in breed-specific grooming, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsabilities

  • Perform full-service grooming, including bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and de-shedding treatments
  • Travel to client locations and maintain a punctual and professional demeanor
  • Ensure all pets receive safe, humane, and compassionate grooming services
  • Maintain the grooming unit, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and proper equipment functionality
  • Provide outstanding customer service, educating pet owners on coat maintenance and rebooking future appointments
  • Follow all safety and sanitation protocols in compliance with industry standards

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Background checks may be conducted for driving-related offenses.
  • Must be comfortable driving and parking a mobile grooming van.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Physically capable of lifting and handling dogs up to 65 lbs
  • Comfortable standing, bending, and working on feet for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely handle pets of all temperaments (including anxious or energetic dogs).
